When we shop for cards, we want interesting, playful, beautiful, familiar, or rich in color. We want cards with blank interiors, so we can add our own thoughts to paper. And we want cards that fold at the top, for lefties and righties. For years, nothing we saw really spoke to us, and so we decided to make our own. We hope you'll find the colors, subject matter, and content a familiar, funny, vivid picture of things you might see and enjoy in real life.
Russhe Riemer, the designer and writer behind Botanicals, found that she needed an activity while watching her small children play outside, and so she started bringing a drawing pad and pencil with her to draw what she saw. She uses Crayola watercolors to add vibrant color and pairs her drawings with down-home haikus.
Eliza Bourque Dandridge has been watercoloring since the age of two. For Landscapes, she painted scenes from places she's been while traveling through the eastern United States and Europe.
